Walmart’s U.S. Marketplace API dashboard is flagging disruptions to selected services on October 1, including item-match feed processing, a report-generation function and shipping settings. The official status page, checked at 6:40 p.m. Eastern, showed a service outage for the Utilities endpoint named “API Platform Status” and service degradation across several other functions.
Status snapshot: Walmart’s displayed update time was October 1, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. Pacific, or 6:30 p.m. Eastern. Status labels can change after this check. The dashboard does not establish when these issues began.
What sellers should check now
If your Walmart integration is producing errors or delayed updates, compare the exact function with the affected services below and check your provider’s logs. Orders, Inventory, Items, Authentication and WFS were marked operational in the same snapshot; the evidence does not support calling the entire Walmart API platform down.
Which functions are affected
The U.S. Marketplace view showed Service Degradation for these specific entries:
- MP Item Match Feed, under Feeds Processing
- CAP Eligibility Report, under Report Generation
- Get coverage for fulfillment centers and Update Shipping Templates, under Settings
- All Departments, under Utilities
Under Utilities, API Platform Status was marked Service Outage. That is the name of an individual endpoint on the page, not a declaration that all Walmart APIs are unavailable. Sandbox was marked degraded in both the Marketplace and 1P Supplier columns. Those testing-environment labels should be kept separate from production-service status.
WFS, including its Print Carrier Label entry, was operational at the time of this check. Sellers should use the latest endpoint-level status rather than assume that every label seen earlier in the day remains current.
What remains unknown
Walmart’s incident-history page displayed no available incident history when reviewed at 6:42 p.m. Eastern. The reviewed official pages did not provide an incident start time, cause, restoration estimate or count of affected sellers. Seller Squash has not independently verified the scale of seller-facing errors or any resulting shipment or order delays.
Practical next steps for sellers and providers
First, identify the failing operation rather than treating every integration error as part of the same disruption. For affected feed or report workflows, check the last successful completion and the freshness of the resulting data before relying on it. Before retrying a write or resubmitting a job, confirm whether the original request completed so that recovery does not create duplicate work.
Record the endpoint, error code, request or correlation ID, and time with its timezone. Ask your integration provider whether it sees the same failure, and use Walmart’s developer support channel for issues not listed on the dashboard. These are troubleshooting precautions, not a Walmart-issued workaround or confirmation that a particular seller account is affected.

This alert reports the official dashboard’s scoped labels, not independently measured availability. Onset, duration, cause and seller impact remain unverified.
